We are delighted to report that the Friends of Holt Island Nature Reserve was accepted by Waitrose for their Community Matters Program, where we asked for help in raising funds for a purpose built dipping pond on the island. The value of the tokens put into our box came to £578 which will be enough to fully fund the new pond. This will provide a wonderful new place for children to do their pond dipping. Many thanks to all of you who put your green tokens in our box!
